Here is another picture from Scandinavia in 2006. I’m not exactly sure, but I think that’s from this E6 ferry line.

I have never been to Iceland but I would love to, and one really big reason that I want to go is that I was blown away by Sigur Ròs’ film Heima, which documents the gigs that they played around Iceland in one big tour. Heima really is wonderful. The gigs were largely unannounced and were free, and it looks from the film like whole towns came out to see the concerts and loved them. The film is full of beautiful music and absolutely stunning scenery. Incidentally, Sigur Ròs’ manager has written an online diary from the band’s Australian mini-tour of a couple of weeks ago.
