First snow in Lausanne

It's snowing!! What started as a flurry yesterday continued as solid snow all night, and throughout today, leaving a skerrick and in places more on the ground. This has brought great joy to me and Tanya, two southerners unused to such delights as snow in the city.

Snow is better with bread, and bread is better with snow. Tanya knows it.

Motorbikes. Or should I say SNOWtorbikes? Yep, I went there.

Our friend Seanno is in town on his way home to Australia from Berlin, and he came with us and patiently watched as Tanya and I went nuts about the snow. We were like kids in a candy store. A candy store in which the candy is cold, wet, and tasteless!

Snow!

Snow!

We walked through the old town and up to the cathedral to see the city under the first snow of the season.

And it's still snowing!!

This snow is quickly turning to sludge, but that doesn't mean it's not awesome.
