Toulouse, tout rouge

Last week I was in Toulouse for a couple of days for a workshop. Toulouse seems heavily influenced by being in the South and close to Spain: the streets are red coloured and filled with tapas bars and cafes, and the city is humming until late in the evening with people enjoying being out with friends. The metro announcements and some street signs are in both French and Occitan language! Plus, it's important not to forget that Toulouse is the home of Airbus, so there's the chance to see A380s right outside the factory at the airport, and the Airbus Beluga even flew overhead at one point while I was there. You don't get much luckier than that.
