Evian to Lausanne by bike

Evian-Les-Bains is right on the other side of the lake to Lausanne. It's in France, and we see its lights at night. On Sunday a group of four of us took the boat over and cycled back to Lausanne, which is a distance of about 65 km. The nice thing about this ride was that although Evian is not halfway around the lake, it feels like it's halfway around the lake. We ended up where we started and were very pleased with ourselves.

We rode east from Evian to Montreux and back to Lutry for a swim; then to Lausanne for a celebratory beer. Having done this ride, the whole tour du lac (about 180 km) is now definitely on the list of things to do!
