La descent de l'Aare

It turns out that to get from Thun to Bern you have another option that is less punctual but more entertaining than taking a Swiss train - you can float down the river Aare! Tanya and I bought an inflatable boat, and will now drop the fact that we are boat owners into any conversation. We used our trusty vessel to sail the mighty course of the Aare between Thun and Bern a couple of weeks back. Here are some photos from the journey.
